this is a detailed louis xv reproduction in white marble. it is currently on display at a queens, ny stone fabricator shop. i can arrange installation.
i performed a gut renovation at a very high end nyc condo (plaza residences). i carefully removed the piece pictured with the stone fabricator's assistance. it was installed as a decorative non-functioning surround and is in new, immaculate condition.
it can, of course, be installed on a functioning fireplace.
